Its patented three-position adjustable shoulder belt helps keeps the belt across your child in the correct and most comfortable position. The booster seat's design and five-star Ease of Use rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) ensures that the Pathway is easy to install and less likely to be misused. Its foldable design features lower connectors to keep the seat secure if you forget to use the car's seat belt system. Fortunately, the Pathway Booster Seat allows you the flexibility to adjust the shoulder belt path up to 1-1/2 inches so your child stays comfortable and correctly belted in for each car ride. The color-coded optimized lap belt paths help guide you to place the seat belt in the correct position with the seat.

Adjustable Headrest Eliminates Gaps
The Pathway is built with an adjustable headrest that eliminates uncomfortable gaps as you raise the headrest to accommodate your growing toddler. The Pathway's specially-designed headrest uses a contoured shape to help contain and control your child's head in the event of a car crash. Side-impact testing is standard for all of The First Years' seats. Each model is tested to Australian standards, the most stringent standards for side-impact testing.

One-Hand Foldable Seat Securely Anchors to Car
As with all of booster seats from The First Years, this model features a patented, one-hand folding design with a built-in carry handle to simplify storage and transportation. The Pathway's self-adjusting back quickly adapts to fit your car's back seat.
